Loose Ends

To be completely human you must feel connected to something. This can be a person, cause, or even merely an idea. Without some type of connection we acquire loose ends; parts of ourselves that want to be apart of something but cannot determine the specific mode. Each individual strives for different things, holds different values, and gravitates towards different forms of comfort. I seem to be straying away from the topic of loose ends so lets switch to a different interpretation. Loose ends between loved ones can be the most difficult to overcome and manage. When people start communicating and that is all for today or yesterday.

Today's Topic:
Apples and Oranges

Where to begin? Apples and oranges occupy two complety opposite sides of the fruit hemisphere if fruit has a hemisphere. Apples are like my second best friend. Their sweet crisp texture makes my mouth water just thinking of them. I prefer to eat my apples cut up into little cubes so that i can crush the meat into the skin so that it make a delectable smushy noise in my mouth. Oranges I do not have much to say about. They are one of the more unpleasant fruits for they leave you with a watery seasick feeling. They can be somewhat tasty, but the side effects make that matter little. They are sticky. They are sour. They are stringy and full off seeds. The only thing oranges are truly good for is orange juicy and chocolate oranges. When I began delving into the subject of apples and oranges I had a mutual for feeling for each but now I am finding that I contain deep and loathing hatred for oranges. They might just be my least favorite fruit and that is saying a lot seeing as that I am deeply in love with fruits and their clean, fresh and vibrant aura. In the Wizard of Oz there is a scene where Dorothy is trying to steal an apple from the mad terrorist apple trees who end up throwing their growths at her to scare her off. As see is leaving she goes to pick one up. One looks like an ordinary apple, but the other looks like an orange. Here is a situation in my brain where apples and oranges have been placed into the same catergory which is rare seeing how they hold extremely different castes in my mind. If you would ask me to talk of pears, I must say that my Oma Florence makes the most romantic pear pie that has ever graced the prescence of my taste buds. I would highly recommend that you look her up and try it for yourself.
